My bride had dermaplaning the DAY before her wedding… and yes, I stayed calm 😅
Here’s how I made sure her makeup still looked flawless and lasted all day
My beautiful Cat had been doing everything right in the lead up to her wedding. She’d been having regular facials, her skin was already looking amazing at her trial, and by the wedding day it was honestly unreal 😍👌🏼
Then the day before… a last minute dermaplaning session was added in at her final facial
When she told me, I didn’t panic. I just adjusted
Because freshly dermaplaned skin can be a little more sensitive, slightly unpredictable, and sometimes doesn’t hold makeup in the same way
So instead of sticking rigidly to what we did at the trial, I adapted on the day
• Focused on calming, hydrating skin prep
• Let everything fully absorb before going in with makeup
• Used thinner, more buildable layers
• Kept powders soft and strategic
The result… skin that still looked smooth, radiant and like her, just elevated
