I’m literally still smiling 😌🥰 I got to meet The Law Preacher -Benedicta Wokocha!! @benedicta_wokocha Someone who has genuinely inspired me, especially in the content creation space, and today I got to learn from her AND take a picture with her 🥹 Moments like this remind me that what I’m building is possible. As someone who is already creating content and trying to simplify the law (especially data privacy), this just pushed me to keep going harder. Today was more than just a summit, it was a reminder and an encouragement that the path I am following has proven results. #thelawpreacher #lawstudentjourney #contentcreator #younglawyersforum #dataprivacy

One of the hardest things after failure is actually moving on. You think about the time, the effort, the energy you put into it… and it’s not as easy as people say to just 'move on." But staying there for too long can cost you other opportunities. So I guess the only option is to keep going… even when it’s hard. Does anyone else relate? #fridayreflections #growthjourney #studentlife #quietgrowth #buildinginpublic

Data Minimisation is both a legal obligation and smart business because it enables a data controller to collect only necessary data and it builds customer trust. #dataminimisation #ndpa #gdpr #finalyearlawstudent #dataprivacy

You’re trying to buy something simple online… and suddenly the form starts asking for information that has nothing to do with your order. That moment of pause? It actually matters. Data protection law requires that personal data must be relevant and necessary for a specific purpose. Not everything needs to be asked for. That is what the law provides. #DataPrivacy #DigitalRights #TechLaw #LegalEducation #OnlinePrivacy

One important principle under data protection law is this: personal data must only be collected if it is necessary for a specific purpose. Not everything needs to be asked for. That is what data minimisation is about. #dataPrivacy #digitalRights #legalEducation #techlaw #lawStudent

Growing up is realizing that not every mistake can be undone. Some decisions come with consequences you simply have to carry. Save this if it resonates. #tuesdayreflection #quietgrowth #adulting #realtalk #buildinginpublic

Sometimes the hardest part is not starting. It is continuing when what you are doing still feels unclear and the results are not showing yet. #mondayreflection #quietgrowth #buildinginpublic #studentlife #thoughtfulliving

Your health records. Your biometric data. Your financial information. These are not just personal data they are sensitive personal data and Nigerian law gives them extra protection. Section 30 of the Nigeria Data Protection Act sets out the exact conditions under which sensitive personal data can be processed. And the keyword throughout is explicit. Whether you are an individual or a company this is what the law says. #dataprivacy #digitalrights #lawstudent #techandlaw #legalcontent

Not all personal data is treated equally under the law. Some categories of data are considered more sensitive because of the level of harm they can cause if mishandled. That is why the law gives them a higher level of protection. #dataprivacy #lawstudent #digitalrights #legaleducation #techlaw

One thing people don’t talk about enough is how tired you can feel and still have to keep going. Living your life just like everyone else while quietly carrying your own responsibilities. Does anyone else feel this way? #mondayreflection #thoughtfulliving #studentlife #quietgrowth #studentlife

Under the NDPA, if you collect or process any personal data, you automatically become a data controller or processor. #startup #datacontroller #dataprocessor #lawstudent #legalcontent
