The three songs on The Wounds of Bitterness demo were recorded between our first and second album. Initially, it wasn’t intended to be released. I mean, who releases a demo after their first album? But since these recordings showed a new direction in the sound of Left Hand Solution, we decided to release it anyway as a cassette tape. This was back in 1995 and it’s the first recording with Mariana Frykman on lead vocals. It was recorded in a garage rebuilt into a very small and cheap recording studio. These versions of the songs have a more raw and distorted sound compared to the later versions that appeared on the album Fevered. It’s shows the transition of a band and is the missing link between the first two albums. Enjoy!
