👂 I've talked the ears off a few people about this but for those who haven't had the pleasure yet, our village (@bartoninfabisvillage ) along with Clifton, Clifton Village, Lark Hill Retirement Community and the new @fairhamlife neighborhood is fighting against a planning application for a quarry to potentially go right next door - check out the image below to give you an idea of the area that it would cover.
🚜 The noise and dust would persist 6 days a week, 11 hours a day (6 hours on a Saturday), would have a terrible effect on the local wildlife & environment and would remove large green spaces for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and everyone else to enjoy.
🕓 The deadline is nearly here to object to the quarry, it’s really quick and easy: simply email by 18th April (5 days left) to [email protected] and give your full name and address (including postcode/zip code).
📧 Your email must have a clear objection to the planning application and should have a subject of: ‘I am writing to object to Barton / Mill Hill Quarry Ref ES/4621’.
✏️ And then it’s up to you how brief or lengthy the reasons are that you give for objecting. You can write too if you prefer. All details can be found on the SAVE Campaign website: LINK IN BIO
📍 It doesn't matter where you live (even you friends and family in the US 🇺🇸) so it would be great if you could encourage friends and family to do the same.
