The snowberry clearwing is a type of hummingbird moth and is one of my favorite insects to spot out in the wild. Their striking lobster-like tail makes them very easy to identify and is one of the main reasons I’m so drawn to them.
These guys are very important pollinators, so make sure you have plenty of nectar rich flowers for them to feed on! They tend to go for evening/morning blossoms that other pollinators overlook.
