Many moons ago, @jamiekhay came to visit me in the sticks. He wrote some tunes. I continued trying to write my first book. We drank lots of cups of tea. And he took one of my favourite photos of moths and insects spiral-zagging around an outside light.
And next Saturday, time will fold in and I will get to be on stage with this punk legend and gentleman.
@jamiekhay and @leeeham have written a song about my second novel BIRD. We’re performing it together at WORDS & MUSIC @newcastlewritersfestival Saturday May 28 at 5.30pm. My unreasonable twenty-something dream of being in a band with Mr Hay/The Haymaker at last coming true!!!
Get a ticket and come and experience with us the sweet spiral-zag that is life (sometimes).
