This is the first release from our upcoming acoustic EP. My little cousin, @camirosenfeld , and I wrote this ballad from the perspective of future humans sending a message back in time, reflecting on their inaction concerning the biodiversity and climate crises. Maybe this resonates with those of you who are as concerned with the future of our planet and its inhabitants as we are. Spent nine days total over the last six months at Earthsound Recording with @leedyess and recorded an 11 song record that I am really proud of. As always @russforstallmusic came and helped fill out the record from lead guitar, to mandolin, and even a little washboard action. We put the final touches on it yesterday! Can’t wait for yall to hear it.
Earlier this week I worked on a mix with @soilofthesouth , @davecobb7 , and @ethan.barrette on this beautiful Neve console. I’ve used a lot of Neve modules over the years, but this was my first time driving a full console loaded with vintage 1073 and 1084 modules. Definitely a way different sound than the SSL stuff I use regularly. #neve #altec #chandlerlimited #api #fairchild
