This shoot was really interesting, about a year ago I bought my first film camera... the Nishika N8000.
This camera is unique as it comes with 4 lenses on the front of it all at different focal lengths, this in turn creates a half frame of film. So in theory one shot takes up to 2 frames of film giving you 4 of the same photo at different focal lengths.
The idea, back in the 80s, was a gimmick or a toy if you will. It would be utilized using lenticular printing to create illusions of depth or motion (mostly used on card like material).
Fast forward to today now with digital it can be used to create the same type of effect but as a GIF like image, pretty dang cool right?!
Shout out to
@hedroom_ for being my guinea pig on this test shoot, it didnt all come out perfect (due to the print shop not scanning properly so I wont be going there again 👀) and I wasn't able to create that exact effect due to the scans not matching up properly however it has made for a pretty cool showcase 😎
