UK DOCTOR WHO BRAGGED ABOUT NOT KILLING ENOUGH PALESTINIAN BABIES STILL LICENSED Information from raise.up.palestine A UK General Practitioner registered with the General Medical Council is under scrutiny after allegedly posting a response on social media appearing to endorse the killing of Palestinian children. Dr Staveley reportedly replied “not enough” when asked how many Palestinian babies he had “sniped”. Despite the public outcry, Staveley remains on the medical register and continues to hold a valid licence to practise. Lovely day in Leeds yesterday for the Leeds Trade Union Council @leedstuc annual May Day march, Saturday (May 2). The peaceful march was organised in collaboration with Leeds Stand Up To Racism, with hundreds of representatives from trade unions and campaign groups taking to the streets of the city centre to highlight workers’ rights and issues such as low pay, corporate greed and on-going genocides. The peaceful march was disrupted by Daniel Cohen (A.K.A. YouTuber Charlie 'love police' Veitch) who harassed marchers, celebrating his service to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and bragging of his 'highest kill count in one day'. Members of Leeds Hind Rajab Support group carried banners in memory of Hind Rajab. Today (3 May) would have been Hind Rajab's birthday. She was killed by the IDF in Gaza. Based on @hindrajabfoundation forensic investigation, the car carrying 6-year-old Hind Rajab was struck by 335 bullets fired from an Israeli tank in Gaza on January 29, 2024. which also killed six of her family members and two paramedics coming to her rescue.

All funds raised are transferred as quickly as possible to four large families trying to survive genocide in Gaza, numbering between four and six hundred people, who have family members living in and around Leeds. The fund will operate on a no overheads, no operational costs basis. We are activists rather than skilled fundraisers so sums are not large, but hopefully will be sufficient to buy some protein or fresh vegetables, tent repair materials or antibiotics. Why aren’t we using one of the established aid donors? Giving to YGFF is not intended to replace donating to other aid organisations. We support families with direct cash payments for the following reasons: 1. ���Israel plays a cat and mouse game with aid to Gaza, choosing who will eat and who will starve. 2. ���Very little aid gets in and when it does it often comes with strings attached. Some organisations are being used by Israel to usurp UNWRA, which has been supplying aid to Gaza since 1948 but has been attacked by Israel. 3. ���Most of the trucks which are allowed through the crossings contain food and goods for sale. Many Gaza families have absolutely no source of income. 4. ���Much of the food for aid is of low nutritional value. 5. ���Israel has banned many of the big U.K. and European charities from working in Gaza. Some of them still have operatives working in the field but the parent organisations cant resource them. 6. ���People from Gaza themselves have told us that NGOs and foreign aid organisations are not agile enough to meet need and are subject to Israeli control. Direct cash transfers avoid Israeli restriction and manipulation. Yorkshire Gaza Families Fund is fundraising for Palestinians in association with Leeds Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
