I'll be teaching a Wood Type Poster workshop @leedsprintworkshop on Saturday 11th July!
Over the past couple of years, I've become fascinated with our collection of wood type. As objects, each letter is a beautiful thing and it is so simple and fun to print with! I also love that you can take words and poetry into the visual.
Some of these demos were printed on paper stencil screen prints, to add dynamic backgrounds to the type. I'd like to bring this process into my class too.
