Happy Friday everyone! Here are the past few days in a nutshell… I had 3 “firsts” earlier this week, nearly 5 weeks after my emergency spinal surgery: - 1st time playing with a toy again - 1st time kicking up leaves after watering the grass - and 1st time telling Papa off when he said the walk was over (got to remind the help who is calling the shots sometimes 😉). I also made sure the physio’s rucksack was clean of treats and can now stand on my own a few minutes for my meals, IVDD can’t take the foodie out of me 🤭 The hair on my back is also growing back, and so so so soft… anyone fancies touching it? 😉 Whilst we have a long way to go and must not lower our guard, the good days are starting to outweigh the bad ones, i’m even allowed a couple of minutes walk without the sling, on grass… Your support and love and cheering is appreciated more than ever. ᵃᵈ Did you know that an oyster 🦪 filters 200L of seawater daily? For Maman Aurélie and Papa Pierre, caring for me also means caring for the world we live in. A few days ago, the food critic that I am took Maman to a new kind of Oyster Bar in Central London which was celebrating the clam-tastic partnership between @purinauki and @weareoysterheaven , complete with sensory station and food tasting. The programme aims to restore lost native oyster reefs off the North Norfolk coast and bring more life back to our seas with oysters acting as natural water filters, whilst supporting marine biodiversity. It’s part of a wider Purina pledge to give back to marine ecosystems across Europe - but why? As we discovered at the pop up, some of Purina’s pet food is made with ingredients from the sea (including high-quality fish by-products, so no part of the fish goes to waste) as fish is not only super tasty, it’s also incredibly nutritious. So, Purina wants to help look after the marine environments that its ingredients come from, with the aim to restore 1,500+ hectares of marine habitat across Europe by 2030! ᵃᵈ I’m rich because… I got to make magical memories in Gstaad with Maman, Papa and my new spaniel cousin Hati! 🥹 I may have been born ready for jet set life 😎 - so the location did sound very appropriate - but I’m also (literally 😜) a very down to earth guy who loves nothing more but to corguide like a local… so I was delighted to find out that Gstaad is a dream dog-friendly destination for nature, adventure and cheese lovers with welcoming locals, culinary delights, fascinating traditions, culture and unique experiences! 🇨🇭🐮🫕🥾🏔️🐴🛁 Which of these experiences / places would you love to try in Gstaad?
