Just finished recipe testing some delicious new dishes for the menu @ambarestate ! So happy with how these turned out and are pairing with the wines! A beautiful new burrata with summer salad and grilled flat bread and a smoked feta and watermelon salad with honey comb from my house.
Chef Heidi can now be found at the beautiful @ambarestate in Newberg, Oregon. She’s creating beautiful farm to table menus as well as food and wine pairing experiences at this exceptionally gorgeous organic regenerative estate.
The perfect way to spend an afternoon off and relax with a glass on wine in hand and a perfectly curated plate of food to match.

Today was hive inspection day! One day each month Jeff and I open the bee hives to check and make sure everyone is happy, healthy and doing what they’re supposed to be doing. The bees are having a fantastic year thus far and are being ultra productive!
As a farm to table chef bring connected to our food, our local community and our farmers is vitally important. Knowing when something will be in season; the pain and efforts into raising or growing that product and then preparing it in a way that really highlights that vegetable or meat helps connect all of us. Because honestly what is better then sharing laughs and conversations over a beautiful meal with people you care about.
