Continuing the spirit of the HER-ITAGE campaign - where traditional embroidery serves as the central inspiration, 22 bridal gowns are crafted as “fragments” of heritage, portraying the essence of the modern bride: noble yet humble, contemporary yet free-spirited, grounded yet ever-evolving.
Choosing to place embroidery at the heart of the collection as a visual language that conveys cultural depth and identity, the design team aims to infuse each creation with the warmth of age-old craftsmanship and the enduring artistry that has shaped Vietnamese aesthetics across generations. When intertwined with modern tailoring techniques, the embroidered motifs seem to come alive - layered, vivid, and full of dimension, creating a poetic dialogue between heritage textiles and contemporary form. It is this interplay between the handcrafted and the modern that defines Lecia’s design DNA: never old, never distant from tradition, and always preserving the Vietnamese essence within a contemporary beauty.
Drawing from sculptural influences and deconstruction techniques, the design team expands their creative range to reinterpret classic silhouettes. Sculpted lines, refined corsetry, and meticulously calibrated fabric drapes come together to create forms that are modern yet soft, honoring the bride’s natural contours. Alongside that, heritage-informed craftsmanship: bead embroidery, raised-thread work, mother-of-pearl inlay, and multi-layered cut lace, is reimagined with a bold, contemporary approach, resulting in textile surfaces that shift fluidly with light and movement.
