Our annual Datathon, an intensive analytics challenge, brought together students, faculty, and industry partners to put experiential learning into action. In partnership with Deloitte, student teams had just five hours to analyze and interpret data tied to a business challenge, then present their insights directly to Deloitte leaders and alumni. Congratulations to the winning team and to all who took part. Deloitte’s expertise and mentorship set a high bar and helped students bring data to life.
Data ➡️ Insight!
Partnering with the Philadelphia Phillies and Aramark, Drexel LeBow’s MS Business Analytics students analyzed and interpreted real-world data, presenting their findings to company leaders for their program capstone, led by professors Hande Benson, PhD and Simon Spavound, PhD.
Congratulations to these students! We’re proud of the curiosity, skill, and rigor they brought to their work.

📊 From data to decisions! Elizabeth Abiot, LeBow Marketing and Business Analytics major, made a big impact during her co-op with Comcast’s Performance Insights team - turning datasets into powerful stories that drive results.
Philadelphia middle school students spent a week at LeBow exploring just how powerful AI and data can be. Guided by undergraduate instructors — business analytics majors Katharine Le, Laura Ibrahim, Aleksandra Iwanczak, and Faith Eldow — participants in our Girls in STEM program learned how AI and analytics fuel problem-solving, tackled a project for Anthropologie, and visited the company’s HQ, presenting to the analytics team and hearing from alumni and professionals. Offered in collaboration with Girls Inc., this experience gave participants hands-on opportunities to explore business + technology, build confidence, and see themselves in the future of work.
As a prize for achieving first place in the Center’s datathon, Bloomberg welcomed the winning team of students to the company’s Princeton site to meet with leaders in business and technology. The students interacted with professionals and alumni and participated in a tour of the company. Congratulations, Ishika, Aayushi, Anvi, Mirudula, Muskan, and Shriya!
