This intimate dinner for 30 was a celebration of community, coming together as a live auction prize from the Blue Door Gala in support of the @ottawamission .
A few highlights from the night:

🎨 The striking visual backdrop of the loft, featuring the beautiful artwork of Ottawa artist and former CTV news anchor @leanne.cusack on the walls.
🎹 Getting to bring the room to life with live music as the singer and pianist for the evening.
Thank you again to @sheilamwhyte and the @nestonwellington and @thymeandagain team for their incredible hospitality. It’s always an honour to be part of meaningful Ottawa events like this one.

As soon as our treasured @julieandrews sang the first note it felt that all was right with the world.
We need that feeling.
I had to share this “jolt of joy” in celebration of the 60th anniversary. Although I am not much of a singer, in the eyes, and ears of my two-year-old niece, Nora, I did okay.
It was a command performance-lol-and it fills my heart and makes me laugh each time it pops up on my phone. This is from summer 2023.
I hope it makes you smile too.
We need to make each other smile.

I always thought @sheilawhyte was joking when she said that my love for her irresistible lemon curd was the reason they started bottling it at @thymeandagain . I was delighted when the team there told me it is true. I’m all the more delighted to be on the walls of the beautiful and cozy @nestonwellington one floor above where all of the deliciousness is created.

This vital neighbourhood program serves clients from a wide variety of circumstances.
