18 years in the acting industry 😱🤗 What a privilege to do what I love thank you GOD 📺 🎥 I want to extend my gratitude to all the producers and directors who have trusted my work and all the crew who I have worked with. Here’s a practical exercise that helped me deal with my my Mom’s passing 12 years ago 🥹 🕊️ It doesn’t necessarily get better - it just becomes different. You become a new version of yourself - without that person. Only way to survive is to choose not to become a victim but rather a victor of the situation - otherwise her death was for nothing and how sad would that be if that was the 1 thing that ruined me where it could be a blessing and a gift her life was meant to give me - then at least her suffering would not have been in vain. To get myself into that state of mind I started doing an exercise 10 years back and whenever I am feeling sorry for myself and sad - I hope this helps you and I am sorry if you are also hurting 🥹🫶🏼 This is not about ignoring or denying the pain - no I still cry about the loss but it is rather about choosing to stand up after the crying session and to put one step in front of the other cause unfortunately nothing will change the fact that they are gone but your choices now can make it worth it and make them proud to have known you on this earth and who you have become and strive to be in honour of them. 🙌🏻 🩷 God bless you 🙌🏻🫶🏼🩵 🌈
