Double exposure madness… with the last two being triples. I will forever be in awe of this roll of Cinestill 400D. The roll I thought I lost to the film gods, but came back to me in the most bizarre way. Memories of Mexico City and my sweet baby kitties weaved through and on top of each other. Total accidental perfection 🤌💋 (I spy a spider - where’s he at?)

I’ve never properly introduced myself on this page which is now starting to feel like a crime - Sooo *inhales* its a new year, let’s get real. howdy friends — My name is Leah, I am loving being thirty years old, and I’ve got an insatiable desire to drive around and breathe in moments and collect their essence on film. Last summer I drove from Atlanta to Seattle, and then from Seattle to Denver with my dear ol’ momma, and then back home. I don’t mind flying, I actually like being in the sky, but if I’ve got the time and the ability - I would choose driving massive distances 10/10 times. My film cam is my loyal sidekick and I document most everywhere I go, and have been sharing those results with now more than 1,000 of you - which is incredibly cool. 🫶 and I have a lot more scans coming as my trips luckily seem to never end. It’s worth touching on how I have used a wheelchair to navigate the world since I was nineteen years old. Honestly, I don’t mind it so much anymore most of the time. I zoom around faster now which aligns with my need for adventure anyway. 🙃😌 what I do mind is living in a world that was (largely) not built with disabled people in mind. But, alas, a more inclusionary world is being created and I cannot wait to finally be a part of those conversations. I’m currently working towards a Biology degree, as I am someone who is astonished by the every day and usually wakes up wanting to chug more and more *life* - in whatever form it shows up as. 🪶 Pretty much consistently, I am in awe of the wonderful people I have met and the places I have been able to experience so far in this world. It is a big time honor to be here at the same time as all of you and these natural wonders. I see and appreciate every like, comment, share, dm you leave. The film community here on IG is not only expansive and inspiring, but super accepting as well. 🤝 I love us. So if you’re here (and read this dang far) - thank you, your presence is felt and treasured. That’s a lil about me and what I’m doing on this earth ball right now. I really hope everyone is soaking up the jazzy moments and feels ready to kiss 2023 on the mouth. 💗

3 years with my favorite guy ❤️‍🔥 — It’s about time I share a piece of this collection from the absolute madman mastermind @damn.thatsnicelight . Shot on a mix of 35mm film rolls, we spent an amazing day in the California hills last fall with him and his beauty, @nonhumanprimate . We definitely made some kind of magic.

My first ever roll of 120 film on Kodak Gold. Took me long enough to get into medium format, right? Definitely a learning curve with some purposeful and accidental double and tripple exposures - but I’m happy they even came out at all, lmao. Can’t wait to take more with this lil yashica 🫶

Lounging in my room ✨ late last year my tuxedo girl, Comet, had a major health scare with her progressive heart disease. I feel more than lucky that she is still here with us. Both her and Butterbean became my whole world when I adopted them at 8months old (almost 9 years ago 🥲) and have been a touchstone for me every time I come home. Kitties forever. **hi my filmy friends - this semester of school is kicking my ass and I’ve been bigger on setting boundaries with social media but I am still here and still shooting film 🤠 I’m so excited to share more stuff with y’all as my personal bandwidth returns to normalcy. I hope everyone is following their dreams in this blip of a life and growing into who they want to be more and more each day. 💗 Nikon F3 | Cinestill 400D

A few 2024 memories on #35mm✨ To all of my friends on here, those I know irl and those I don’t, thank you a million times for supporting my film journey this past year. I love this lil hobby of mine and I’m so grateful for the community I’ve found here. Keep putting your art out there. Share every photo off the roll, light leaks and just a bit off shots included. If there’s anything I’ve figured out it’s that perfectionism is overrated. 🫶

A few more from the ceramics studio down at @redbarnpotteryfarm . The last photo was supposed to be a documentation of the *tiny* mouse bones Rachel was pulling out of owl pellets to make her *tiny* reliquaries for the Halloween market we did together (she’s just too perfect for words ⚰️), but alas it was the first of the roll.
