Yes, we also create debutante dresses here at Leah S—and they’ll always be special to me. The very first dress I ever sold, back in 2003, was a debutante gown. ☺️
While debutante balls aren’t quite as popular as they once were, they still hold a special place in my heart. There’s something timeless about them—the excitement, the tradition.
And just like everything in fashion, the styles continue to evolve… and then find their way back again. Satin has made a return, just as it was in the late 90s. Visible boning, of around 2008, is once again having its moment. And the folded bodice detail we saw in the early 2000s? It’s back, and as elegant as ever. 👏👏
It’s a reminder that while trends may change, the feeling of wearing something truly special for the first time never does.💕
