March 4th 2023 I decided to travel and give some love to my roots and where I come from. This came to me while I was living in LA and dealing with the aftermath of October 7. I had to separate from my girlfriend at the time and some of my friends because I just wasn’t aligned with my truth. Shortly after my car got robbed and shortly after that, crashed into and totaled while I was at a red light just chillin. I lost my tools and now my car which led my locksmith and property management businesses to the ground.. I felt the calling to march FOWARD on March 4th cuz I love puns and words and it gave me a tickle that pushed me to check out my roots. I followed the calling on a moment of courage and I booked a flight out of LA. I was out and ready for the next chapter within a few hours of booking it. Here I am in Warsaw, Poland with one of the last remaining walls from the ghetto. It was an honor to light a candle for my grandmother who survived the holocaust in Poland (or somewhere in that area because the border and territory was literally being fought over so change of ownership and confusion was constant). I was humbled by this experience and the space inside my heart that compartmentalized my history, and the pain of my roots, while also experiencing the love for Poland as a modern metropolitan area full of life, love and diversification. I am here and I am love and courage. I hope I can make my bubby proud up there 🤞🏼
