It’s the last week to experience VERDANT DWELLING in and within the many environments of Glandwr. Your chance to see the strings of houseWORKhomeWORK tied together across the somatic landscape of a living, non-living home. Underpinning this project are ideas around land, body (domestic) labour and the unseen practices that exist in dwellings and between these structures.
VERDANT dwelling is an exhibition of two new bodies of work ‘Blown In’ by Rachel Fallon and Hedgerow Bodies’ by Eva Vēvere. The exhibition is part of a wider project called houseWORKhomeWORK which includes three companion site-responsive artworks by Jaana Laakkonen, Conall Downs, Rónán Ó Raghallaigh. Including two new performances by Rónán Ó Raghallaigh and Zan Breathnach on the 17th and 18th of January respectively.
Slots are available for 14th January through 17th - free but booking is essential using the link in @_glandwr_ bio to reserve your spot.

GLANDWR presents CONALL DOWNS
Dawn Voyager
2pm - 4pm Saturday 15th of November
You are warmly invited to an afternoon, a moment to be with artist Conall Downs new installation ‘Dawn Voyager’ which takes flight within the stairwell of Glandwr, project space and home.
This work focuses on a place that exists where reality, time and memory intersect. How we react or can’t react to the subtle changes that have happened when returning to places (habitats) and past events, both physically and digitally (shopping centres, computers and social media). Caught within an abstract limbo realm, temporarily paralyzed by not understanding.
‘Dawn Voyager’ is a companion to the Glandwr’s houseWORKhomeWORK project. It is a long durational installation, suspended in an interior domestic chasm.
houseWORKhomeWORK is a gradually unfolding series of events, exhibition and performances activating the surroundings of Glandwr in October 2025 and continuing into 2026. houseWORKhomeWORK is a curated project by Debi Paul with invited visual artists Jaana Laakkonen, Conall Downs, Rónán Ó Raghallaigh, Rachel Fallon, Eva Vēvere, Ella De Burca and Kian Benson Bailes, and artists yet to be announced.
