it may look like a bowl of apples to you but this is my husband’s act of kindness. nothing like running behind in the morning and coming down for a glass of water and finding my husband’s act of kindness. he knows short on time means nutrition will be delayed for a while given my schedule. i also love good food. yeah, he gets me 🥰❤️
today i saw a design by @cbabi . doesn't matter whether i see the image before it is shared with a client or pass one of your images every day, seeing your work never gets old. like, never. not EVER.
it always brings reflection & gratitude. agreeing to represent you was one of my scariest & best yeses. my background is medical research, therapy, and post secondary education administration but art has become my life. this marriage has brokered the dopest husband, entry into a beautiful family, birthed a wonderful business partnership & gifted me a life filled with color, wonder, & hunger.

this marriage brought a great number of gifts, one of them being a sister (we don't do in laws), Adrienne Gaines. i was gifted her love, her wisdom, her quick wit, and one of the best laughs i have ever been privileged to hear. to know her is to know God's love in human form. your faith and your kindness are your legacy. thank you for being faith in action and the change we all need to be and witness. job well done. i love you, sis❤️. my dad will be the one with a huge smile and a good dad joke. hug him tight and tell him hello for me.

2020... ironically when the world was in isolation, i was given the gift of friendship & love in the form of @cbabi . today we're celebrating 2 years of marriage. i still pinch myself. never thought marriage would ever be in the cards for me (see photo of Troy & I sharing that pinch me moment). i have never been more glad to be wrong. you will always be one of my best yeses and i am as giddy now as i have ever been. thank you for being the best husband on the planet. looking forward to loving you for a couple of forevers❤️. happy anniversary love of my life! 🥂
