New sizzle reel to celebrate my official partnership with @Kursza as part of the core team! It’s been awesome to be a part of this journey, alongside such massively-talented and all-around epic humans- and I’m humbled to be taking a lead role in this next stage of its evolution.

A bit late on the post, but no less excited to share one of my favorite projects of 2021. This is one of the first DP projects which had called for a visual style that truly inspires me. It allowed me to attempt some new setups and techniques, of which I’m really proud of the results. It was an ambitious creative for the resources that we had available, but everyone put in 110% and we managed to pull it off. Japan [PT.2] - Core memories.

[PT.1] Some highlights from our trip to Japan this time last year. Easily some of the most beautiful and inspiring moments of life so far.

This has been one of the most awesome branded projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on to date. Universal Music Group and Sprite teamed up with powerhouse hip hop producers Take a Day Trip, pairing them with a variety of artists around the world - for Sprite’s Limelight global campaign. Kursza was contracted to execute the vision with @jameswinterhalter at the helm. I was lucky enough to film with TADT in LA for their session with BLXCKIE, then hop down Rio de Janeiro with @chrisheinrich for a session with a local Brazilian rapper Xamã. A couple weeks later Winterhalter and I were out to London for TADT a session with Mahalia, before we wrapped this portion of the shoot with some intro pickup shots at the studio in LA. The studio sessions were rad, but the most enjoyable part was exploring a couple of international cities in which I’d never been - diving into the local cultures and capturing B-roll along the way. @apolloposthouse @ap.mov and @griffinolis worked some magic in stitching this together and I’m looking forward to more projects in this realm and seeing this campaign continue to roll out. The Diplo Antarctica stream is now live on YouTube. It’s awesome to see this out in the wild, and hands down the craziest performance I’ve ever had the privilege of capturing. Still processing the wildly surreal experience of visiting Antarctica. I feel very fortunate that my work has taken me to the far reaches of the earth, but this trip was on another level. Sailing amongst a sea of ice bergs, penguins, whales, and striking landscapes - where the sun never truly set - was like nothing else I’ve ever experienced, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity.
