A work-in-progress piece — I’ve often looked at the unsorted leftovers from my textile artworks and felt the urge to experiment with them. Such a complex and colorful chaos. Let’s see where this leads.

How happy do these colors make you, on a scale of 1–10? 🌞🌞🌞

Finished the biggest patchwork curtain so far - it was a commission for @connymirbach and got picked up right after. I always love to hang it once in our kitchen to see the sun coming through, very dreamy 🌞ðŸ«

A very rewarding thing is hanging the patchwork curtains in our kitchen after finishing them. These room transformations bring me so much joy :)
Very curious to see how it will look at its final destination 🌞

When we moved in, there was an old kitchen already installed (see last picture). At the time, I had an interior project where I planned to install a no-name stainless steel kitchen from a restaurant supply store. Since we didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money on a new kitchen, we ordered simple stainless steel kitchen modules and assembled them ourselves. I’ve always loved the clash between romantic and technical elements :)
