Do it for her. For every girl around the world. For the Mother. If you can, choose to be a witness. What you document now is valuable. Their stories, their lives matter. Every victim statement matters. Survivors of rape and pedophilia and horror stood in court and told the world who they were. A woman in charge of justice would not look at them. Her story is being written. Her crimes are being documented. Children went to school in pink and white uniforms and should not be dead. A mother dropped her child off at school and was slain driving home. She should not be dead. We are watching, we are writing, and we are witnessing.

A long overdue entry on the first 'big' Haus of Sleep event titled "Second Father," which happened last month at @polskojaponska in Warsaw. Took months of planning, preparations, meetings, communication, and coordination. @jabielecka masterfully handled the meetings and massive organizational duties, while @andrzejpeszel and I coordinated transfers and accommodation for our international guests who also performed at the wonderful @kolonia.artystow the day before. The event went very well, albeit there's plenty of room for improvement. Excellent lectures and live performances. Interestingly, many people traveled from abroad (Germany, Czechia, among others) to attend the event, which we consider a success. At this point, we know that organizing such events requires many more people, as we could barely keep up. Either way. Excellent lectures by Marcin Żółtowski, Maciej Ożóg, and Łukasz Szałankiewicz, as well as live performances by Dystopian Control, gamma.function, Maciej Ożóg, PCRV, Crank Sturgeon, Like Weeds, Kazumoto Endo, and Tourette. Tourette LPs coming soon, sincere apologies for the delay. Thank you for being with us. We appreciated seeing all the old friends as well as new faces. We hope that this is just the beginning of a series of events, but who knows. Now onto other Haus of Sleep endeavors! Warsaw’s experimental music scene just stole my heart away — the sounds and sights and people, the whole trip was just astounding 🖤🖤🖤 @fluxusmt and I flew to Poland in late November where he joined artists from Japan, France, the UK, Poland, and America for a day of lectures and an evening of noise performances at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. I was able to meet so many longtime friends Matt has made over 30ish years of making noise (while getting to document everything along the way!). The event was a dream made reality through @hausofsleep.eu and @dawidkowalskidotcom and @jabielecka — my heart aches to think of the beautiful time we got to spend together, and meeting @axivf and @andrzejpeszel and being taken such good care of with all the traveling artists. Seeing these smiles warm me right up and takes me right back there. We are meant to be together, the dreamers and the noise makers. Thank you Dawid and your big big love of PCRV so many other amazing artists and for bringing them together. Getting to be a part of this experience has helped my heart ❤️
