Each spring, rainbow trout return to the Sheridan Lake spawning channel to complete one of the most important stages of their life cycle.
Operated by the Friends of Sheridan Lake Society, the spawning channel helps support a healthy trout population in Sheridan Lake while giving visitors a unique opportunity to witness the spawning process up close.
The channel will remain open for viewing over the next few weeks, making this a great time to stop by and experience this incredible natural event in person.
