Congratulations to our Oscar DeAvila from SUNY Cortland on your graduation! 🎓 MB and your dad were by your side throughout your entire journey in school, supporting you every step of the way. Congratulations as well to all of the amazing people who were part of your story — the Vicentes, the Martinsens, your incredible mother who made the ultimate sacrifice to bring you to this country from Venezuela, and your entire village that helped shape the young man you are today. You are another amazing success story that started in the wrestling room. 🤼‍♂️💪 Continue to smile, continue to learn, continue to be kind, continue to make memories, continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and most importantly continue to be yourself — because you are perfect exactly the way you are. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning. We are all proud of you. Congratulations once again, graduate! 🇻🇪❤️🎓

Amy Mi Reina ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day to a mom who originally had 2 kids and now has 5. Baby, we are missing Mother’s Day because of our trip to Africa, but from the other side of the world, we want to wish you the happiest Mother’s Day. You are the most beautiful, smart, well-dressed, fit, strong, determined, confident, dedicated, motivated, energetic, encouraging, loving, supportive, and the BEST cook/chef any child could ever ask for. You always lead by example and continue to give everything you have to our family every single day. Our kids are incredibly lucky to have you as their role model and their mother. You are a great friend to them, but most importantly, you are their mom. Thank you for always bringing laughter into our lives and for being funny, loving, and full of energy. Being away from home has made me notice firsthand just how dedicated, thoughtful, and caring you truly are. No matter how much you do every day, you always find a way to put our kids first and make sure our family is taken care of. Thank you for everything you do and continue to do for our crazy but incredible kids. I love you, we miss you, and we cannot wait to see you again. I can’t wait to hold you and have our first meal together when I get back home. We love you, Amy. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

⁨ ⁨ من الألم إلى منصة التتويج.. دنيا سيبومانا يحصد ذهبيتين في البطولة الأفريقية للمصارعة بالإسكندرية 🥇🥇🤼‍♂️ From Pain to the Podium… Dunia Sibomana Wins Two Gold Medals at the African Wrestling Championships in Alexandria 🥇🥇 واصل المصارع دنيا سيبومانا كتابة واحدة من أكثر قصص الإصرار إلهامًا في عالم الرياضة، بعدما توج بميداليتين ذهبيتين خلال منافسات البطولة الأفريقية للمصارعة للكبار، التي استضافتها مدينة الإسكندرية على صالة برج العرب، بمشاركة واسعة من أبطال القارة السمراء. 🇪🇬🤝🌍🥇⁩⁩

The founder of Wrestling for Hope has reached a remarkable milestone within the program. Mr. Gabriel McDuffie, founder of Wrestling for Hope, made his African Championship debut in Alexandria, Egypt—earning 2nd place at 86 KG while proudly representing Sierra Leone on the continental stage. This achievement reflects more than success on the mat. It represents perseverance, discipline, and a commitment to something greater than competition. Mr. McDuffie’s journey was supported by the guidance and belief of Coach G, Coach Eric Palmer, and teammate Alfred Daniel—individuals who played a key role in helping him reach this stage. Beyond competition, he fulfilled a promise through Wrestling for Hope by giving back—donating wrestling gear to athletes in Kenya and building meaningful connections with wrestlers across East Africa. Standing alongside athletes from Kenya, Uganda, and beyond reinforced the true mission behind the program. Wrestling for Hope continues to stand for more than sport—it represents opportunity, connection, and growth. This milestone is not the finish line. It is the beginning of a greater impact. We thank everyone who continues to support this vision and be part of the journey forward. Please enjoy the photos and videos shared from this experience.

He did it! Dunia is your 55kg U20 African Freestyle Champion—and he did it in dominant fashion, outscoring his opponents 33–1. Winning the tournament was incredible, but what truly made this trip special is the overwhelming love he’s received from Africa—especially from the beautiful people of the Congo. They are some of the happiest, most supportive, and loving people we’ve ever met. They welcomed him with open arms, and now we proudly say we have family in the Congo. We can’t wait for our next adventure together. Dunia will be back on the mat Saturday as he competes in the 57kg Senior Freestyle African Championships. Thank you to everyone who has been part of his journey and helped him get to where he is today. Our boy is loved, and we are truly grateful for it. Congratulations, champ! 🇨🇩
