The Coastline Beach Sprint Selection Camp is designed for athletes who are serious about developing speed, skill, and race execution—and who are interested in progressing toward national team trials.
2–3 sessions daily
On-water, erg, and run integration
Race-specific beach sprint development
Training on the LA28 Olympic rowing venue
This camp will also be used to evaluate athletes for potential quad lineups heading into US National Team Trials in August.

Introducing the Long Beach Sprints — a beach sprint rowing event hosted by the Long Beach Rowing Association at legendary Marine Stadium and Belmont Shore.
Sprint down the beach. Launch through the surf. Turn one buoy. Empty the tank.
Whether you're an experienced coastal athlete, a flatwater rower looking for something new, or just someone who wants to race in one of the most exciting formats in the sport — this is your chance.
The weekend includes:
Beach Sprint Clinic
Time Trials
Head-to-Head Racing
Open, Masters, and Junior events
Mixed Doubles
Spectator-friendly racing directly off the beach
And yes — you’ll be racing on the same waters set to host rowing during the 2028 Olympic Games.
Athletes from across the country — and internationally — are already planning to attend.
This is not just another regatta.
It’s a full weekend experience in Long Beach:

Saturday morning we launched the first-ever Christmas Beach Sprints at Marine Stadium — six events, fast lanes, short course, and over 50 athletes throwing down in true sprint style.

The Long Beach Beach Sprints Christmas Regatta hits the sand on December 6th — and it’s going to be fast, loud, and a little bit wild.
Run. Row. Run.
Short 300m blasts, boats launching straight off the beach, athletes charging into the water and diving into the sand for intense finishes!
Racing goes 10AM–1PM on the beach side of Marine Stadium.
