This is a casual meet-up event, come as you please, bring your own food/drinks. We are just inviting people to join us in the park for a fun and fabulous day with our queer family! Can’t wait to see you all.

Join ASCEND TRIBE x LB Proud as we take over a parking lot just one block from the @lbpride Parade for the launch of our brand-new Sunday Pride Tea Dance — an outdoor day party built for the queer community, allies, music lovers, and anyone ready to dance under the sun.
Expect sexy gogo dancers, ice-cold drink specials, delicious food, and nonstop house & techno music from some of the area’s best DJs. This isn’t your typical Pride party — ASCEND is bringing the immersive energy we’re known for, outdoor vibes, unexpected surprises, and a crowd that came to celebrate loud, proud, and unapologetically.
Whether you’re coming straight from the parade or making this your main event, trust us when we say: this IS the Sunday Pride party you don’t want to miss.

Let’s be honest: there’s long been a disconnect amongst the queer community and events post-pandemic.
For the @hellolongbeach events team, their quiet but clear push to uplift and outright alter the way the Gayborhood parties have been a mission of love and evolution. It is a chapter that is less reliant on traditional nightlife formulas and more focused on public space, culture, creativity, and community connection.
That philosophy has become the backbone of Playa Larga’s growing roster of events: the Big Gay Beach Takeover, Be Proud! Fest, Big Gay Happy Hour, the Big Gay Flotilla, and perhaps most notably, the rapidly expanding Big Gay Picnic held at Bluff Park.
