Hard to believe such special places can be torn down so quickly. Unfortunately, the destruction at Bingin is not the first of its kind. Just next door Dreamland beach was destroyed to make New Kuta. Perfect waves have had rock jetty’s built directly in the middle of the wave. Cliffs destroyed. Sea walls built to slow down earths natural cycles. And for what? One more hotel. One more beach club. One more cafe. The generations to come will be paying for our mistakes…
