This year has been one of the most incredible of my life. There has been no greater highs and honestly no greater lows in my racing career so far, but this post isn’t about me. I want to take the time to highlight those that I had the privilege of working with and working for this year.
Racing for the Venturinis this year has been the highlight of my career so far. I have never been with a group as hard working, tight knit, and fun as my 20 team.
@kevinreed_ was such a critical part in my growth as a driver this year, and being able to have a true friend as a crew chief allowed me the support to come into my own and gain so much confidence as a driver.
@abhishek_cherukara really helped me to get my simulator knowledge and feel dialed in and helped give me a sim feel that I will carry with me through the rest of my career. owen_smith36
@mattbyook @smilinreese all gave me the most dedication I could ask for in a team, being my biggest supporters throughout the year and becoming good friends. These guys made coming to the shop a blast and made even the hardest days at the track enjoyable. Finally
@billy.venturini gave me this opportunity and the equipment to show what I am capable of doing, and I will forever be grateful for the wisdom and at times hard talks that among other things led me to my first win.
I cannot describe what it has meant to be a part of the 20 team and a part of the legacy of Venturini Motorsports, but it was the privilege of my life so far to be blessed with working with such great people, and I hope to keep these friendships for a lifetime.
It may have ended with 5th in the championship through some unfortunate circumstances, but I am going to be proud of this year and my team as if we won it all. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it.
