When he first died, I truly thought my life was over.
I didnât see the point in continuing to chase goals without him here to witness them.
I couldnât have been more wrong. There is life after loss.
Losing someone you love can make it easy to lose yourself too. And in many ways, the person I was died that day with him. But the version of me that came after is someone Iâm proud of.
Every day since, my family and friends have reminded me that life is still worth living, even when it feels impossible.
Iâm not sharing this for attention.

There were many moments during my 3L year when I truly felt like my life was over after being diagnosed with a chronic illness during my first semester of 3L, temporarily losing the ability to properly walk and use my hands. I felt completely hopeless. It was the help of my friends, family and team of medical professionals that made me feel hope again. I dedicate this to you!!!đ€
I wanted to share the grad photos, but I also felt it was important to share a glimpse at the end of what life was really like. A lot of 3L was sold as âthe best year of my life,â but instead it was a year I almost lost myself to my health, and still, I made it through and I promise you can toođ€. Grateful for it all.
