Thank you for another year of making artisans 🫶🏻 I can’t believe how many designs I got to release for you in this short span. I feel like I blinked and the year just ended 😭 This year wasn’t the easiest and I was definitely being tested 😮💨
what happened in 2024? 🧐
- Earlier in the year we completely changed our sale method from the usual raffles/ PayPal invoicing to monthly website drops. I wasn’t sure about this fcfs sale style.. but it really streamlined our business by making the buying- shipping process more organized.
- This summer I also moved out on my own to my first apartment to have a resin studio 🏠 That was the scariest but best decision ever! I can now separate work from life and that gave me some breathing room.
-We even fit in a handful of in person tabling events including keeblife, ucsd’s fall into keebs, and ax chibi. It was so rewarding because I got to meet so many of your lovely faces 🥰
-now we’re taking on apparel and hoping to launch that collection early next year! 👕

Packing video from earlier this year, a highlight since we received 80+ orders for our holiday drop 🥹 it’s taken me so long to get vids up because I just have a bunch of already edited videos that just need voiceovers - which is the part that takes me the longest 🥲 anyone else resonate with this? I’ve also been focusing on more hobbies like pickleball that force me to go outside and be more active! It’s so fun and has been so good for my mental health and creativity :)

I referenced the gorgeous, vibrant color of thick matcha (koicha🍵) for the shiny last pour. watching the resin settle is so satisfying—it almost makes the matcha look drinkable! The sakura blossoms are making me extra excited for spring too 🌸✨

You all showed so much love to the mocha kitty artisans that I just had to create a spring-themed froggo version 🐸🌸 While sculpting these, I imagined Hani peacefully soaking in freshly whisked matcha beneath blooming cherry blossoms, enjoying the soft spring breeze 😌🍵

Here are some more shots of this crunchy little cutie 📸🌱 I’m especially proud of the gradient, which was perfected after so much trial and error! It looks simple, but it was such a technical process getting that prefect blend 😮💨 I honestly love pushing myself to perfect techniques outside my comfort zone though so all the effort was all worth it!
