Spent the weekend in Picton in Prince Edward County with a group from my MFA cohort. We ate, talked, walked, visited the local bookstore and celebrated three published books.
The perfect recharge after a busy year launching a movie and finishing my thesis novel. Can’t wait to make this a tradition with a growing pile of published books 📚✨

It poured rain but that didn’t dampen our adventure. Made it to @hopelessromanticbooks and bought the new @ellekennedyauthor and a surprise book, then @typebooks and bought a signed copy of @bymainguyen ’s Cleo Dang Would Rather be Dead, and finally to our go to local shop @queenbooksto and bought a signed copy of @emily.ohanjanians ’ The Book Tour.
Plus got roses from Hopeless Romantics, stickers and postcards by @justalillost_art . A few more spots I look forward to exploring the next time I’m across the city.

In March 2025 Griffel Literary Magazine published my essay “Body Rubble,” which I wrote in my MFA creative non fiction class. It is about my experience with birth after miscarriages. A content note, but there is a happy ending and that baby is now 10!

I’m a film and tv producer with my company @cliquepictures where I’ve been making narrative and documentary films about women not behaving how society wants them to for two decades. ✨🎬✨
In 2019, I decided I wanted to write and direct - something I hadn’t done since my undergrad degree at UBC. This led to my personal short film THINGS WE FEEL BUT DO NOT SAY (2021), based on my experience of miscarriage. My next short, ERASE & REWIND (2024) is an adaptation of a short story.
For the past 3 years, I’ve been studying at UBC where I’ve focused on fiction and screenplay (plus dabbled in non fiction and poetry). In May, I graduate with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
My work account is producing and project focused, and my personal account is, well personal (kid, dog, family, food) so this is the new space for my writing and reading.
