I was waiting for the last of the Fuji film to be developed before I posted but THAT’S A WRAP ON INTERNALIZED! Too many to thank but I’ll start with Will, my writing partner on this film. I came to my friend Will after many days of sharing scripts back and forth to help me polish up this script I had been working on. Will has always been able to pull a new layer of creativity out of me and I enjoyed our time on this. Another person I brought in over a year ago was Kai. Immediately after meeting for the first time I knew that I found not just a DP, but a collaborator. 3rd, I’d like to thank our amazing producer who pulled off the impossible with locations and crafty! Safe to say she created a great work environment for our crew and knocked it out of the park. (Hire her!) I had the pleasure of working with so many great people dedicated to the project. A crew that was also willing to add suggestions to make the film better. You guys rock. Lastly, our wonderful hosts who let us come into their home for 7 of our 10 days and shoot this film. In the fall of last year, I had the most incredible time gaffing on a short called "Skyview Enterprise." And I'm so excited to be able to see it tomorrow at the short film showcase being hosted by the @internalizedfilm team.
While filming this short I got to work with the most amazing team and learned so much. If y'all get the chance, it be awesome to hear what y'all think of what we were able to put together :o)
Update: Got to see on the big screen and it was an amazingly beautiful treat. Specifically big love to Clifton Chandlers work on this film!
