If we haven’t met yet — Hi! I’m Lauren 🤍 I’m a Creative Director, Executive Producer, wife, and mom of two. Around here I share a mix of motherhood, the creative work I get to do with my husband Dan at @thebrook.studio , faith, home life, and the everyday in-between. I’ve lived in Sydney, New York, Austin, and now Franklin, and every season has taught me something new. From producing events around the world to raising Dodge and Dylan, it’s been a ride that’s stretched me, kept me on my toes, and brought me so much joy. Here’s to connection, encouragement, and figuring it out together! 🪩 If you’re new here, stick around! Introduce yourself! I’d love to meet you. - LB ✨

Some nights leave a mark.
When Red Rocks Worship invited us in to help shape the visual world for their upcoming record, the vision was simple: capture fragments of the night. Moments that feel sacred, human, and unforgettable.
 The famous signature stairway.
Crew loading in as the stage slowly comes to life.
Quiet rehearsal moments before the crowd arrives.
Light spilling across the ancient rocks as night falls.
This direction became “Fragments of the Night.”

A collection of visual artifacts that tell the story of what happened in that place.
From the album artwork to the live recording visuals, we had the honor of helping creative direct, art direct, and design the visual language this record will live inside.
So many powerful images were captured.
So many hands helped to build this world.
And this is only the beginning.

The first song is out now. Much more to come.
Grateful for the entire team who helped bring it to life, and thankful to Red Rocks Worship for trusting us to help shape the visual story of this record.

Throwing it back to one of my favorite projects — Rad Chicks at Colour Conference 2018. We took Betty Who’s remake of Donna Lewis’ “I Love You Always and Forever” and turned it into a full-on 90s girl band moment 💿✨. From moodboards to rehearsals, props, costumes, choreography, and lighting — every detail was built to transport the audience into that world. Dan art directed, I creative directed and produced, and we had the most incredible team around us who brought it all to life — with performances across Sydney, London, and New York. Looking back, I’m still amazed at how much unseen collaboration it takes to make a “moment” feel effortless on stage. This one also holds a special place in my heart because it was the project where Dan and I first really felt that creative chemistry spark. We were just two dreamers working side by side — and I think that’s part of why it still means so much to both of us today. 💛 Swipe for some very LATE behind-the-scenes concepts — still some of my favorite throwback sketches + ideas that remind me why I love this work so much. 🫶🏼

The coffee table books I keep reaching for as a Creative Director + Producer. Some books you read. Others you live with — they sit on your table, shape your environment, and spark ideas in unexpected ways. Coffee table books are a staple in our home. Almost all of them carry a certain memory — a trip, a birthday, an anniversary, or Christmas. Most even have a little note written at the front to remind me where they came from. They’re part inspiration, part decor, and part story of our little overly sentimental life. These are a few of my favorites… and if you want to flip through them yourself, you can shop the stack in my LTK (link in bio). ✨ And because I’m always on the hunt for new ones — what’s a creative book you keep coming back to? Please share ⤵️ 🫶🏼

Somehow we blinked and the first half of the year was gone. But what a beautiful blur it’s been. Watching Dodge find his voice and Dylan find her feet. Rainy days that turned into dance parties. Disney magic. And one Coldplay concert that made us all feel like kids again. That one’s a core memory. We’ve worked hard, traveled far, and tried to be fully here for it all, the chaos, the quiet, the magic of the everyday. Here’s a few of our favorite memories so far: 1. Dodge + Dylan’s spring school photo — those tiny faces, all grown up and still so little. 2. Our first snow of the year 3. Dodge turned three — Spidey everything, of course. He’s never been louder or more alive. 4. Malaysia with Dan — just the two of us, getting to work together, eating Thai food on the other side of the world. A rare kind of good. 5. Dylan’s first real steps — wobbly, wild, all heart. She hasn’t slowed down since. 6. Spring sunshine in the backyard — Dylan toddling through grass, Dodge barefoot and buzzing. These are the moments we’ll miss someday. 7. The preschool Easter egg hunt — Pure childhood. 8. So. Much. Rain. Franklin in the spring was soaked — and the kids loved every second. We said yes to puddles and dancing in the driveway more than once. 9. Disney for Dan’s birthday — Mickey hugs and wide-eyed wonder. Worth every ounce of travel. 10. Dodge’s dance phase — soundtrack of the year: him singing and dancing all day. 11. Utah summer vibes — mountain air, eating watermelon on the fourth, and Dodge cruising on his balance bike. 12. Coldplay with the whole Brook crew, three generations singing under the stars. Pure magic. These are the days and we don’t want to miss them. ✨

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of producing the Asia-region broadcast for Gather25, a 25-hour global gathering uniting churches in worship and prayer across every continent. Live from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, our segment represented four hours of programming, highlighting the stories, voices, and faith of the region. My role spanned months of pre-production and planning: producing creative moments, stewarding the run of show, and coordinating closely with both local teams and global production teams to ensure every detail was prepared for a seamless broadcast. Serving as the producer and showcaller for this historic event was an extraordinary honor and a profound reminder of the beauty of collaboration and shared purpose. Grateful to have partnered with @kingdomcity and the global team of producers for @gather25 and so many talented teams to bring this vision to life.

New work for @thriveworship — Art direction and design for their latest single, The One Who Saves, and the upcoming album. Built around the idea of seeing Jesus through a kaleidoscope, where one image reflects endless angles of who He is. At the center is Christ, the Lamb who saves. Light, texture, and layers all working together to say something simple and sacred: there's always more to see in Him. #ThriveWorship #ChristianArtDirection #SingleArt #AlbumDesign #TheBrookStudio

Grateful to @redrocksworship for trusting us with the art for their latest album "The King Is Coming". We imagined ancient white arches—timeless and open—standing in the middle of a quiet field. A place where heaven meets earth, and a throne sits ready for the King. #AlbumArt #CreativeDirection #WorshipMusic
