We are proud to announce the reissue of @laurarcantrell’s ‘Humming By The Flowered Vine’ to celebrate its 20th anniversary (technically, it’s been 21 years, but who’s counting). The “Humming album,” as it became known to Cantrell fans, is a pivotal work in Cantrell’s music career after touring all over the UK and Ireland, earning the support and friendship of BBC legends John Peel and Bob Harris, opening for Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello in the US, playing every kind of gig from local bars all the way to the Grand Ole Opry.We are sharing a previously unreleased bonus track, “Hammer and Nails” to kick off the celebration. Of all of the rowdy, raucous energy onstage during this year's @outlawcruise, one of my favorite moments was @jimlauderdalemusic finding his dan tien in the Stardust theater during the @steveearle tribute, on Steve's amazing song "The Mountain" - and with all these talented younguns, Logan, Frank, Ross, Jaime - sorry I don't have the bass players name, but all great!
