This track was born one evening in the studio I shared with my friends at @a.round.studio .
The goat @mangruv has worked with me on this to give it some zesty drums and sharpen it as a knife during the mastering.
This track has been waiting for its release for a solid minute now, so it’s time to do some spring cleaning.
And last but not least the full EP Left Foot Forward will be released too on May 21st.

We are gathering for an evening of deep sonic exploration and playful experimenting. The soundscape features RRRADIANT, whose live sets are built around visual ideas translated into sound landscapes and shape-shifting methods that lead the listener to different worlds. Amsterdam-based producer Luuka brings lush blankets of sound and off-kilter modular design inspired by the shifting sands of coastal landscapes, while Modo Mero takes the stage for a fully live and improvised electronic odyssey—a raw conversation between artist and machine with no pre-planned tracks in sight. As per tradition, Julien Chaptal will also be tuning into the movements of microorganisms collected in Amsterdam on the day of the event, introducing the evening through the pulses of electronics.
Saturday the 31st of January between 14:00 and 18:00 we shall be hosting the monthly living room listening session with Fulfillment Music Center in a living room in Amsterdam East! There are still a lot of spots available so if you'd like to come, DM us and we will add u to the list!! Doors open at 2 and first performance starts at 2 30!!

RRRADIANT emphasizes the use of fragmented sounds and memories creating dreamlike sequences where acoustic ambiguity are embraced and meditated.

While without a home for now we keep organizing shows. And this is a special one. We are collaborating with @gahilversum for their Press Play event where they show zines and art made by the people who work there.
But not just that, there will be no less than 6 performances in the middle of the presses and screenprinters. First 3 short sets by RRRADIANT and Daniel Bennett for @gluren_bij_de_buren in the afternoon (for free!). And at night full performances by them and @hheatdeathh will close the night!
About the artists:
HHEATDEATHH is the solo industrial anxietechno project of Ralph Lindsen. Using rolling industrial beats, modular synths, diy instruments, samples and distorted vocals to let out his anxieties about the world come out. No performance is the same, nothing is fixed, everything is live.
Daniel Bennett is not just a musician but also one of the people who created graphic art at the atelier. Combining both forms of art, he'll do a special performance using, synths, tape loops and samples of the machines that are used at the atelier.
RRRADIANT blends voice and electronics to create evolving ambient environments.
The music remains open, allowing form and direction to emerge and fade once again in the moment, leaving no fixed coordinates.

These grey days bring me back to this summer, when @edos_______ and I were field recording for a piece that now is playing at Centraal Museum in Utrecht for the exhibition Getekend, De Natuur.
The heat was crazy but we found so many interesting sounds (and annoyed ants in our shoes).

For this mix, RRRADIANT set out to explore the decks with the wonder of a child and the control of a climber - able to fall with trust and return to solid ground. In that tension, new cracks and possibilities emerge within the sound. This is why the transitions between muddy-dubby worlds and shapeshifting ambient moments serve as the main interpretation for listening.

RRRADIANT hosts this month’s Lauden show on @subtleradio , airing tomorrow morning at 8 AM (NLD time).
Experimentation with listening is what drives sound artist RRRADIANT, who always creates with the bodily experience of sound in mind. Her sets are ambient-heavy, yet lean towards rhythmical intermissions and not-so-hidden messages about freedom.
“The night is lived as multiple experiences - it loses linearity and allows intrusions, chaos and contrasting paces. This set seeks to express these different ways of perceiving the passing of time. Through the long shadows, bombastic lights and incomprehensible reflections that shape the switch of night into day, the Lauden sound arises. Maybe we are still in the club. Or maybe we’ve already slipped into REM sleep and our eardrums are still pounding.”
