This is Dave. Dave is forty years old tomorrow - hooray!
Dave is loving, kind, intelligent, fun and pretty unique. He’s really hard working and full of good ideas. He has a determination to make anything he’s involved with a great success, probably mostly because he hates letting people down. Any anxieties he ever has are completely unfounded as I’ve never met such a dedicated person who always strives for perfection both technically and creatively. I admire Dave’s independent streak for travelling and studying abroad and for introducing me to different cultures and cuisine. He’s honest and trustworthy, always punctual, he’s a great listener, and even though he can get a little bit ratty and impatient on occasion he has so much empathy and compassion for every living creature it’s unreal. You can easily judge a personality from how much they love their family and how many friends they have, and Dave is a prime example of this. Dave also has an interesting selection of tattoos.
Not everyone can say they have recorded an album, put on sell out gigs, managed bands at a small festival venue, have a multitude of film and television credits and taught themselves ZBrush to design me some awesome nature sprites. Dave’s even built functional and attractive integrated furniture in our home and landscaped the garden without any prior experience at all. Most admirably Dave tolerates the cat that he is ferociously allergic to.
Perhaps my celebration of Dave is starting to make him sound a little dull? But no! Dave is fun, quick witted and always up for it. He has an eclectic music taste and not afraid to dance to any of it and more, and Dave is the best drinking buddy a person could have.
Dave is the most caring person I’ve ever met and I’m so lucky and proud to be with him.
