In response to a question asked at the Edna Manley lecture, there’s a link in my bio to a video of the Orange Hall children performing with the St Ann Senior Citizen’s Cultural Group at the presentation of my installation, 62 Men and 63 Women, that had an 1820 inventory of enslaved ppl’s names. Families today carry these names. The dancers are celebrating their ancestors.
