This Mother’s Day, here’s a small snippet of photos from the trip my mom and I took to Italy this past October. I’ve wanted to go to Italy my whole life and, after a canceled trip in 2020, this trip was made all the more special because I got to go with my mom.
I get my Italian heritage from my mom, and so much more. My mom is independent, hardworking, resourceful, smart, thoughtful, and kind. She is a loyal friend and an awesome partner to my dad. She is poised and graceful, and also a little goofy. There was always laughter in our house growing up, along with something tasty to eat - she makes amazing meatballs. My mom is one of my favorite people in the whole world, I would not be who I am without her, and every day I am more and more grateful to have her as my mom. Love you Mom🥰 Happy Mother’s Day!!
