RRT-1 (GPS III SV-07) - My first “moon transit” shot of hopefully many. Through a grimy lens (completely my fault) and a last-minute dispersion of clouds, we managed to get a neat capture. Video is 1.3 seconds of burst photos from the R3 stitched together.

My final rocket launch before moving back to Colorado Springs. In my 10 months here, I saw 57 total launches from 5 different launch vehicles. The Space Force now takes me back to Colorado for initial officer training for the next year. If all things go well, I’ll be back to Florida again next July. But until then, see you later Space Coast 🫡

“The Bruiser” has flown once more! Carrying the first 27 of over 3000 Kuiper satellites, Altas V raced to the heavens yesterday at 7:01 PM Eastern. While my video camera didn’t trigger from the pad, my Canon R3 shoots still photos at 30 FPS which allows for the making of an impromptu video! Add the audio in and voilà !
Starlink 6-74 - My 50th launch I’ve been in Florida to see! While everyone north of us had clear skies, we had a few clouds that nicely framed the rocket as it ascended to orbit.
