Among the largest āGuan Yinā in Thailand - this statue comes in at a whopping 25 storeys. You can take an elevator inside that takes you to the top for panoramic views from her third eye. Gaun Yin is the Goddess of Mercy (often initially mistaken as a Buddha). The statute is complimented by a 9 storey pagoda and an elaborately intricate ordination hall.
Welcome to Chiang Maiā¦here we have either a Singha, Yaksha or Kinnareeā¦ a regal guardian of one of the magnificent temples here.
