Italian Liberation Festival is near!!! Join our Italian revolution..! Ops, we mean commemoration, of course!! We start on Saturday 18th at Newtown Community Centre from 2pm for FREE workshops, snacks, and fun with @latarantellaexeter , @trikkeballakkeexeter , and @crearts_laboratory ☀️. This is free but please book your space for the dance and music workshop or simply pop by to say hi on the day and make some origami in preparation for the 25th April. This will be an open door community event, thanks to Newtown Community Centre management for promoting diversity and art in the local community 🌍 And then we’re on with the main event on Saturday April 25th! We gather at Exeter Phoenix from 4pm for music, poetry, and snacks! Music from our @trikkeballakkeexeter with some special guests! Gladly announcing that will be playing next Saturday! Le Trikke, the whole women ensemble part of Trikkeballakke bigger family, will be playing and dancing for you at the Exeter Phoenix, Saturday 14th March, at 11.30, for International Women’s Day celebration! All day free ! Stay with us for a tarantelle singing and dance workshop in the afternoon, 2.10 in the dance studio! A little nostalgic moment today! We found this in our memory box.. It was already 5 years ago, when we took part in the last edition of the @tribe_of_doris festival, how special it was to play there, especially after all that we had been through those couple of years! With the current climate- literally and metaphorically- we still sing this song with courage hoping to give inspiration and keep up the fight! ‘Malarazza’ says: ‘Why are you complaining, take on your own fight, as no one, not even god, will save you, if you don’t ‘. So here is us, renewing our message and getting ready for some more gigs of resistance , in this coming spring / summer🌱 ! What a pleasure to be in London last night, @cafcar @latarantellaexeter @vale_libera_alba , representing for Trikkeballakke 🤗at the great @cgs_canzoniere gig!! We truly enjoyed it, what an incredibly vibrant presence!!! 🎶🕷️🥁🕷️ Music is key to unlock energy, transform emotions and create new realities as we want them to be.
