From Prince Edward County, Last House Vineyard focuses on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from their family vineyards situated meters away from Lake Ontario's limestone shores planted on Ameliasburg Clay Loam. They are making elegant cold climate wines using both inox tanks and a barrel program that works with the juice to showcase P.E.C.

The label Petit is a play on Petit Chablis - a category of that French Burgundian region thatâs not meant to be âlesserâ but a different style due to soil/sun. LH uses the Petit designation for newer plantings and is retiring the designation with the 2023 vintage đ. The 2022 is loaded with savoury/saline and flint notes. It shows a bright, lifted array of pear, white flowers, yellow apple, bergamot, and integrated spice notes. It shows more concentration and weight on the palate than the Christian Block Chard. Lovers of personable, terroir-driven County Chardonnays will nerd out over this wine âš - $34 and coming soon! #pec #pecwine
