âManic Pixie Dream Girlâ explores the female character trope in movies created to rescue male protagonists with her quirky charm â yet often projected onto real women in outsider subcultures. A romanticization of âothernessâ that is rarely taken seriously.

Iâm super thrilled to announce the next exhibition at Galleri Sod: a group show called Vertex!
A vertex is a mathematical term describing the exact point at which a curve has reached its lowest possible point, to then gain momentum in its further trajectory. In a different sense, it also represents new beginnings, revitalization and radiating energies.
The exhibition includes works by @mira_kring , @eliasforberg_ , and @oooooomarx

To start out 2025, Iâm very excited to announce the next exhibition at Galleri Sod.
Mikkel Rohde Skovlunde (he/him) will have his first solo show with the gallery titled, Or a basket, or a bit of rolled bark or leaf, or a net woven of your own hair, curated by TC Schwarzkopff (they/them)

The vernissage also coincides with the opening of the galleryâs big brother, @sod.copenhagen - a tattoo studio and creative space located behind the premises of the gallery. Itâll be one big celebration!
