Ride over or just show up to the LA SOLIDARITY RIDE & COMMUNITY FEST on Sunday, April 26 from noon to 7pm Boomtown Brewery (700 Jackson St, Los Angeles, CA 90012), a free, people-powered day of solidarity biking, community orgs, mutual aid, music, and connection all in one shared space. Come hang out, meet folks, and connect in the spirit of collective care and support. Local groups doing on-the-ground work will be there to share what they’re building and invite people in. Together, it points toward a vision of community strength beyond war, extraction, isolation, and car-centered systems. We encourage biking or taking the Metro to the event.
We’re inviting people-focused community orgs to participate in whatever way is realistic for your capacity, including:
Tabling (sharing resources, sign-ups, mutual support, etc.)
An open mic or community share time to air grievances about the state of the city, name what people are dealing with, share what they’re building in response, and invite people in
Ride collaboration or bike support: route input, meetup flow, safety vibe, messaging, etc.
Ride marshaling: help keep the ride(s) smooth and welcoming
Simply come through and/or ride with us

Well I was hanging with some bike homies at the LA Solidarity Ride @lasrcf and they told me I need to make more bike art and they were right. A bike has been my primary mode of transportation for about 18 years now and I’m convinced it’s the best way to get around. We need more of us so dust off those handlebars and get out there 🚲

Faaaaaak my day riding all over Los Angeles was zen AF - rolling with @lasrcf from HLP to @boomtownbrewery - just LOOK at this perfect day in my beautiful city!!
Loved hanging out and meeting so many new people with aligned purpose - the energy was truly refreshing and hopeful.
