Excited to finally share these chandelier lamps I made a while back. This form is something I’ve explored with vessels in the past and I really love how it feels very corporeal with the creamy orange glaze. The glass and brass elements are sourced from the flea market here in CDMX and are from fixtures that date back to the 1920’s. These are slow creations in every aspect; there were several stages of flea market hunting, cleaning, wiring and assembling in addition to building the ceramic element. It’s inspiring to search for the right combinations of antique objects and to create something new that incorporates the old.
