I turned up to encourage the convener and celebrate with the graduands at the 1st Cohort Graduation Ceremony of young beneficiaries of the Get Skilled tailoring empowerment programme in Yaba, hosted by Omowunmi Fashion Academy in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Social Development. We must recognize that not every young person will pursue a white-collar career, and as leaders, we have a responsibility to create pathways for skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods. By investing in vocational training and practical empowerment programmes like this, we are not just creating jobs - we are building confidence, dignity, and a brighter future for our young people. #RisingStar✨

Tomorrow, we go beyond conversations. As part of the Boy Child Resilience Initiative (BCRI), we will be visiting the Correctional Centre to connect, encourage, and remind young lives that their future is still full of possibility. Every boy deserves guidance. Every voice deserves hope. Every story deserves another chapter. #JCIContinentalLagos #JCIIkeja #JCINigeria #BoyChild #Beacon
