Dutch champion 1000M TT 🥇
A special one because this was the first jersey I won as a junior in 2019 (last picture) and now I won it as an elite rider. Finally.
It's hard to be told that you are not good enough, even harder when you are faster than people who are considerd as fast enough.
It was an tough year, an cliché but true. Losing structure and the joy in doing something you used to love is hard to realise. But luckily I found the fun back on the bike.
The "Kilo" is my favourite discipline, so this is an very special one for me.
The end? Who knows. Some said that in october 2024, some during 2025 but here we are :). I laughed it off, knowing I wasn't done yet.

It was great to race in Ahoy again. Going 70+ on a track with 49% angle is always good fun.
Big thanks to everyone who helped and came to watch the races!
Now time for rest and nationals in 2 weeks.
