The VW T5, the gift that just keeps on giving 🤣. It turns out that male flared steel brake pipes don't like female flared kunifer brake pipes 🤷 and love to leak, so cut them off and added couplers - all sorted now 👌. One of the rear calipers was seized solid and the other was pretty stiff so stuck my hands in my pockets and bought 2 new FebiBeilsten units. 'While I was there' I fitted new flexi hoses too 😁. A bit of exercising and a clean up & lub off the slider pins sorted the front calipers out😁.
The mid to rear brake pipes (above & behind the fuel tank) were pretty corroded on the T5, and the trailing arm pipes were even worse 🙄. Made up and fitted new ones, I can't recommend this flaring tool enough, it works brilliantly 👌.

Managed to get the other jacking point done on the Vivaro. Looked a lot better than the other side but ended up not that different. Check behind your wheel arch liners guys, there was a lot of mud behind mine😬.

Not the sort of surprise I like, but it is now sorted (on this side anyway 🙄). Pleased with how it turned out and will hopefully last the test of time 🤞. It's funny how I keep thinking this is a modern vehicle, but it's 21 years old 🤣.

Lovely boxing day treat 😁. Actually got around to replacing the weeping ram on the car lift👌(supplied under warranty). It was coming from a pinhole in the ram weld. I managed to spill a load of hydraulic oil into the support tube, so I'm sure that will be dribbling out of there for a while 🤣.
